We started in New York with DJ Enuff, The Notorious B.I.G.’s tour DJ and a Hot 97 voice for 27 years, and the late Jason “DJ Threat” Campbell. Our own record puts the founding at 1999. What we became is an institution: over 115 of us carrying the name across four regions, with Vice President DJ Camilo running the bench alongside Enuff.
Our own About page calls us “essential in launching the careers of” Kanye West, 50 Cent, Chris Brown, Cardi B, Khaled, G-Eazy and Future, and lists activations we ran for Pepsi, Apple, Beats, Ciroc, Moët Hennessy and Foot Locker. The receipts below carry the rest: stadiums, radio rooms, a foundation, and a podcast that seats T.I. and The-Dream at our own table.
Our name is a roll call as much as a brand. We keep the memorial in our own words, on our own channel: rest in peace Jason “DJ Threat” Campbell, Grandmaster Roc Raida and DJ TimBuck2.
